Alaska Senator Stevens Pleads Not Guilty in Corruption Case

California Supreme Court bars suit by Livermore Lab scientists

The California Supreme Court unanimously tossed the lawsuit today. The court cited the state’s whistleblower law, which bars such complaints against the University of California as long as the school system seriously considers the grievance and makes a timely decision.

Three Sentenced in Minnesota Mortgage Fraud Scandal

Michael Alan Parish, Ardith Ann Parish, and Christopher David Troup, the owners of Parish Marketing and Development Corp., a long-time Minnesota home builder, were sentenced for conspiring to commit mortgage fraud and money laundering in connection with a scheme involving approximately 200 residences and approximately $100 million in loan proceeds.

Fremont man who went on hit-and-run spree to be found not guilty by reason of insanity
